Less is More when Selling in Puerto Vallarta!
When selling your home, less really is more. While it may not feel like your home or how you like to live in it you really need to look through the eyes of a potential buyer.
So when listing your home here is a quick checklist of things to help sell your home quicker:
Remove family pictures. You want people to visualise their family living there and not yours. As soon as the home is sold, you can put them back up.
De-clutter. You are moving anyways so now is the time to get rid of all the junk you don’t need. Clean out the drawers and cupboards so that when buyers look in them they see there is lots of room for their stuff.
Remove magnets and artwork/pictures on the fridge. While you may think your children’s kindergarten artwork is the most beautiful thing in the world, chances are the buyer’s won’t see it the same way.
Neutralize your decor. You may love bright colours on your wall but research shows more neutral tones of white, beige or light greys will help your home sell faster.
Remove indoor plants. While you may have a real green thumb and love a room full of plants, this can make the space feel cluttered and dated.
Just making these simple and inexpensive changes can really help sell your home quicker and for more money. And if you aren’t sure if you need to make any more changes, ask your Real Estate professional and get their advice.
